Trainer Profile: James Anthony McQuillan
I’ve always had a deep love for dogs and feel incredibly fortunate to have learned from numerous furry companions throughout my life. My journey with dogs took a pivotal turn after adopting a very anxious pup. This challenge led me to dive into the world of dog behavior. Working with Molly not only opened my eyes to the complexities of canine behavior but also showed me the profound positive changes that can come from dedicated training and understanding. This experience ignited a passion within me to help others navigate similar challenges—after all, I’ve been there!
My commitment to dog well-being extends far beyond my own pets and private training sessions. I also volunteer at the Quincy Animal Shelter, where we strive to enhance the lives of the dogs in our care. At the shelter, we focus on providing enrichment and foundational skills training that many of the dogs in our care lack. Witnessing the transformative effects of training on the shelter dogs has solidified my calling to become a dog trainer. It's incredibly fulfilling to see them grow, learn, and gain confidence.
I believe that every dog deserves a chance to be their best self, and I’m passionate about helping both dogs and their humans create strong, positive bonds. Whether it’s through training, volunteering, or simply sharing knowledge, I’m dedicated to making a difference in the lives of dogs and their owners.
