Kathryn Butts specializes in nosework training in the Austin area. Her classes are fun, positive, and always focused on developing a strong working relationship between the dog and handler. By placing an emphasis on the final indication behavior, Kathryn's training techniques develop a clear line of communication between dog and handler that results in a successful partnership at trials.
Kathryn is an active competitor in scent work, and she and her Scottish Terrier, Bentley, became the 5th team in UKC history to earn the Elite Nosework (EN) title.
Kathryn maintains an active judging schedule for AKC Scent Work and UKC Nosework.
Pet dog training and general obedience skills are offered on a case-by-case basis.
