For over 18 years, Lauren Tsao has been utilizing her animal training expertise to improve the lives of many animals. Lauren has worked with dogs, cats, horses, birds, reptiles, & marine mammals during her career. Lauren holds a Master's degree in Applied Animal Behavior & Welfare from Virginia Tech, as well as a Bachelor's of Science and an Associate's of Arts in Psychology. Her Master’s thesis examined dog activity levels and dog shelter policy.

Lauren holds professional certifications, including being the first in Mississippi to be certified as a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) and as a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC). She has been recognized as one of SniffSpot's Top Positive Dog Trainers in Mississippi in 2022 and 2023 and been interviewed by Honest Kitchen, SuperTalk MS radio show, WLBT/FOX40, Worry Less, Wag More Podcast, and more.


Lauren’s work heavily focuses on unresolved behavior cases, particularly dogs displaying barking, lunging, growling, and biting. She is known for her thorough behavior consultations that include gait and posture analysis, behavior analysis, and a non-judgmental approach. Lauren firmly believes the answer to all cases relies on taking the time to listen to owner and animal. Lauren works virtually and in-person at her 11-acre Braxton, MS farm.
