Maria trains with a cooperative approach, in a positive, science-based and fear-free way. She focuses on building a trusting relationship between the animal and their guardian. She helps people understand canine communication and teaches them how to give their dogs choices in the learning process. She has been training dogs since 2007 and has over 9 years of shelter experience. Her specialty is helping people and dogs with fear & frustration based behaviors (aka reactivity).
