Trainer Profile: Evelyn Gail Wright

At Practically Positive Dog Training, our mission is to provide a judgment-free environment where dog guardians can build stronger bonds with their companions using ethical, effective, and science-based methods. We specialize in helping clients transition away from reliance on training tools—aversive or otherwise—by fostering clear communication and mutual trust.
Rooted in LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) principles, our training approach acknowledges each dog's individual history and meets them where they are. We understand that not every dog begins with a positive training foundation, and that’s okay. We’re here to support both ends of the leash as you move forward—practically and positively.
Led by Certified Dog Trainer Eve Wright, we offer private coaching, behavior consultations, and support for rescue, shelter, and behaviorally complex dogs. Whether you're addressing reactivity, fear-based behaviors, or simply want a cooperative companion, we’re committed to your success and your dog’s wellbeing.
At Practically Positive, we believe in second chances—for dogs, for humans, and for training methods that honor the bond between them.
