Irith Bloom is the owner of The Sophisticated Dog, a pet training company on the west side of Los Angeles. The Sophisticated Dog offers virtual training sessions for clients worldwide, as well as in-person sessions in a limited area of Los Angeles for select clients. In addition to being a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (Knowledge & Skills Assessed) and a Certified Behavior Consultant Canine (CBCC-KA), Irith is a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant, a Certified Behavior Adjustment Training Instructor, a Victoria Stilwell Positively Dog Trainer, a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner, and a member of the Pet Professional Guild.

Irith is committed to using pet-friendly methods and treating both animals and humans with respect and compassion. She believes that training should be enjoyable for all involved, people and pets alike. Although her focus is on training dogs, Irith also has experience training other animals, such as cats, rabbits, horses, and chickens. She is fluent in English, Hebrew, and Japanese, and can train your pet using any of those languages.
