Vera Wilkinson CDBC, CPDT-KA is located in the Boston area and her dog training and behavior consulting business is The Cooperative Dog. Since 1996, Vera has travelled throughout Eastern Massachusetts helping several thousand people to better understand their dogs through in-home private lessons and behavior consultations. She currently offers group classes and dog behavior education seminars for dog owners in Brookline, Wellesley and Belmont and has taught classes and seminars all over Massachusetts. Vera is most sought after for help with serious and longstanding behavior issues, reactive dog classes throughout the Greater Boston Area and training deaf, blind and deaf-blind dogs.

Vera also mentors aspiring dog trainers and dog behavior consultants. She was first certified by the CCPDT in March 2003 and by the IAABC as a certified dog behavior consultant (CDBC) in 2007. From 2008-2011, Vera served as the Chair of the Dog Division of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants.
