Description

This is a 6 week course to train working therapy dog teams culminating with a handling test on the 7th. week to register and certify teams with Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Students will be required to study the rules and protocols as well as practice skills useful for therapy work with their dogs. A written open-book test is required for this course. Interested people should contact the instructor for the pre-requisites form and to arrange an evaluation of handler and dog before acceptance to the class.
