Description
In this year long course, participants will learn how to train dogs. Units will cover ethics and morals, learning theory, ethology, teaching skills, overcoming unwanted behaviors, recognizing problem behaviours, building behaviour matrices, counter conditioning and desensitization, breed differences, Advanced training theory, generalization stimulus discrimination and schedules of reinforcement, developmental stages, evaluation of behaviour problems, and work that dogs can do. Participants will also have access to our community where they can network and connect with other trainers and participate in live chats with some of the movers and shakers in the industry, and they will have access to an online group training class. Enrolment is limited to 10 students per cohort.
