Description
Self-injurious behaviors in cats, such as over-grooming, tail-chasing, or excessive scratching, can be puzzling and distressing for caregivers. This session unpacks the medical, environmental, and emotional factors behind these behaviors and offers a practical framework for addressing them. Attendees will gain strategies to reduce self-harming behaviors, collaborate effectively with veterinarians and caregivers, and create a supportive environment that promotes healing and well-being. With real-world examples and actionable insights, this talk empowers trainers and veterinarians to work together in resolving these challenging behaviors.
