Description
Your heart is set on volunteering with your dog. You may want to visit children's hospitals, nursing homes, or psychiatric hospitals. Or maybe you work in the mental health field and would like to incorporate a dog into your practice to help your patients. The catch is ... you don't have a dog yet. While your heart may be in the right place, please know that not every dog is cut out to be a therapy dog. This course will cover how to choose a puppy best suited for the task. We'll also cover early critical socialization and training. If you already have a dog you think might be a good candidate, this webinar will also help you determine if he has the temperament for the job.
