Description
This presentation will cover how new advanced imaging technology has revealed arthritis, previously rarely discussed, in birds. As in all other animals, arthritis may lead to vague up to overt signs of pain- all of which may affect a bird’s behavior. By better diagnosing, understanding and treating arthritis, behavior disorder outcomes may be improved.
