As such, trainers must possess powerful skills to engage owners in the training; to educate owners; to normalize behaviors and to teach owners methods and mechanics in training. Dog trainers also need to effectively manager client expectations. Clear, empathetic spoken and written communication is critical to dog trainers’ credibility and professional image. This webinar helps trainers hone their communication skills. We will focus on active listening and clear speaking with owners. We will improve trainers’ skills in communicating with clarity and empathy- especially in difficult situations. We will cover ideas for normalization of behaviors.
