Description

The science behind why animal assisted services change the biology of interventions is based on the research that neuroscience is producing at rapid rates. Practitioners in all industries need trauma responsive education to support their animals, patients, students, and/or program participants who are often not labeled as affected by trauma. This presentation aims to increase awareness, sensitivity, individual and community responsiveness to better support individuals who have been affected by trauma.
