In this course, you will work alongside and learn from Ken Ramirez for five days. The Ranch Experience features the most hands-on time and the most personal coaching. You will also get to care for and feed animals as you become fully part of The Ranch family while you are here. Almost certainly you have never experienced skill building this way. The Ranch Experience combines hands-on training sessions, training demonstrations, animal care, classroom learning, and Ken Ramirez for five days. You should expect to develop and refine the specific skills needed to be the best trainer you can be. If you choose to attend The Ranch Experience: Protected Contact Module, the focus described in the previous section and the curriculum are the same as any other Ranch Experience course, but for this week only, there will be one additional element, the opportunity to practice protected contact skills! The main difference is that during your hands-on training time, half the time you will work with animals in free contact and half the time you will focus on developing the skills needed to work in protected contact!
