Description
Hands-on workshop involving live dog demonstrations and evidence-based lecture format. Description: Does your dog bark, pull, or lunge on your walks? Did you know that barking, lunging, and pulling towards other people or animals are some of the most common behavior problems in dogs? In fact, it might even be a normal development that all dogs go through, especially in a busy urban environment. Many factors influence the development of "leash reactivity" including: your dog's personality traits, early enrichment versus lack of proper exposures, your environment, and, of course, training and learning experiences! Come discover how science reveals why your dog behaves the way it does, and learn about the most effective, humane ways to reduce reactivity. Then, put theory into practice with live workshop dogs and watch how we can successfully change behaviors!
