Description

Perhaps the most en vogue of the verses, cognitive psychology has been at the forefront of canine behaviour for the last decade. Here we delve into just what the dog understands to be his world around him and how he comes to that place. We will look at the evidence for important conceptual learning such as object permanence and what that could mean for domestic dogs. We explore how and when our dogs use reasoning and how this may differ to how us human reason as well as how they process and interpret things like space and time. We take a deep dive into canine learning with special attention on the canine mind and what effects the perception, formation and maintenance of memory. We also gaze hard at the various ways in which dogs learn.
