Description
This 13 week program will give trainers the opportunity to dive more into canine behavior and how to create effective behavior change plans for their clients. The purpose of the program is to provide trainers who want to work more complex cases a holistic framework with which to begin assessing and creating adaptive strategies to move forward in their client work. The program is a combination of video lessons, written lectures, and interactive activities with additional (optional) questions for self-reflection in each of the 26 modules. The curriculum is as follows: Units 1-3 (Understanding Canine Behavior and Emotions, Complex Behavior Problems and Emotional Triggers, Creating Emotional Change). Units 4-6 (Conducting Thorough Intake, Evaluating Behavior and Immediate Management, Providing Prognosis and Realistic Modification Plans). Units 7-9: (Components of Effective Training Plans, Medication in Training, Multi-Dog and Multi-Species Considerations). Unit 10 (Mock Client Scenarios). Units 11-12 (Case Plan Development, Adjusting Approach / Aftercare). Unit 13 (Canine Body Language Deep Dive and Activities). This program contains varied support frameworks to help every learning style move through the information in a manageable and accessible way.
