Description
Behavior analysis emphasizes functional relations between behavior and consequences in an animal's environment. Specifically, functional behavior assessments are used to aid in the identification of the maintaining variables of unwanted behavior. This presentation will introduce various types of functional behavior assessment such as indirect assessment, direct assessment, and functional analysis. We will outline measuring and analyzing data collected in a functional behavior assessment. We will also describe how to use the information obtained to design and implement a training plan.
