Description
This lecture series focuses on the successful search strategies and procedures needed by those working with canines in search, detection, and scent work. First, the presenters discuss how the environment impacts odor movement and how this movement impacts odor detection by a dog doing search, detection, and scent work. Then presenters discuss fundamental strategies for increasing the likelihood of a search and detection dog discovering a targeted odor across a wide variety of environments.
