Description

In this course, students will gain an understanding of canine structure, biomechanics and locomotion as they relate to performance. In-depth information on common sports injuries in active dogs, including their causes and prevention, will also be covered. Participants will learn how to improve performance and keep active dogs healthy and injury-free. The lectures will prepare the students for hands-on wet labs including gait analysis, lameness evaluation, conditioning exercises and jump training.
