Description
Start button behaviors have been all the rage for quite some time now! You might have heard about them, but have you heard Emelie and Eva talk on the subject? E&E came to think and use what they’ve chosen to call start buttons from their agility training some 20 years ago. The duo then brought start buttons with them into a broader and more general way of thinking about training and communication with their learners of many species, humans included. Can we create structures in our training that gives us as trainers information about how our learner is perceiving the training, making it easier for us to judge how we’re doing? Can we create a way to have more of a two-way communication? Start buttons are a way for us to receive information at every stage of training and perhaps living with our learners. Join Emelie and Eva on a trip from the very beginning of start button thinking, learn about start button contingencies and also about what start buttons are not!
