Description

Aggression cases make up the vast majority of our private consultation cases here at Peaceable Paws. In this webinar we will look at the causes and classifications of aggression, and discuss how to help clients understand that it is *rarely* about dominance, and almost *always* about stress. We will examine some actual cases as the backdrop for sharing my protocol for identifying stressors and creating realistic behavior modification protocols that clients can successfully implement. We will compare counter conditioning and desensitization; CAT (Constructional Aggression Treatment); and BAT (Behavior Adjustment Training) as tools to modify aggressive behavior. Finally, we will discuss how a behavior professional realistically determines if s/he is qualified to work with aggression cases.
