Description
The amazing olfactory ability of dogs is well known; they have been tracking and hunting with humans since their domestication. But how can we effectively develop these skills? In this course, we will learn how to train dogs for scent detection, discrimination, and tracking. These skills are clearly the bedrock of canine roles in bomb or drug detection, tracking, and search & rescue. But they also present opportunities for increasingly popular sports, titles, and novel forms of canine competition.
