Description

Brains are predictive organs. Like scientists, brains measure their beliefs and predictions against incoming sensory data from the world and the body. We will introduce Canine Neuropark® and how the idea of Neuropark® came about - a safe and enclosed rehabilitation field for physical and mental rehabilitation through adaptation by predictive processes of the brain and the body, in which the brain is entombed in. A process called Allostsis (predictive metabolic regulation). Brains are predictive organs. Like scientists, brains measure their beliefs and predictions against incoming sensory data from the world and the body. Through that natural need to explore, an animals' curiosity is enhanced to exploit within the field (environment) and cultivate new experiences along set knowledge (memory) and thus reduce uncertainty, which has a beneficial effect on energy regulation thus physical and mental well being. We cumulated scientific ideas of how brains predict, update "errors," and adapt through action and will explain how these "inside out ideas" matter for physical and mental health of our dogs and the owners we engage with.
