Even the best therapy dogs may not work well with every patient and student population – and that goes for their handlers, too. Maybe a certain type of patient makes you nervous, or maybe your dog’s personality is better suited to a specific environment. There are so many different people who could benefit from your visit … but you don’t have to visit all of them. Find your niche as we explore different populations, their facilities, and the characteristics of a good therapy team fit.
