Description
Cooperative care training, particularly for veterinary procedures, is gaining wide recognition and attention. Veterinarians at times may be at odds with pet caregivers as to how a procedure be done. As pet owners and trainers move forward with training, it helps to understand any particular positions and needs that a veterinarian may need to perform an exam or procedure with the most accuracy. This lecture covers topics such as auscultation, blood draws, injections, vaccines, palpation and other common procedures and how they preferentially should be done. This will allow trainers and owners to prepare their animal in the best way possible and avoid conflict between training and the veterinarians needs.
