Description
The Dog Trainer Foundations course is intended to give students an understanding of the principles of positive-reinforcement training and a solid foundation in clicker training. They will learn how to create and implement training plans to teach new behaviors, and how to apply clicker-based solutions to solve common training and behavior problems. Additionally, the course teaches students how to recognize and interpret canine emotional signals and how to use this knowledge to create successful training plans. The course provides an in-depth explanation of the dangers of punishment-based training methods, and explains why positive reinforcement training is safer and works more efficiently. Through clear and engaging content supplemented with dozens of high-quality videos and step-by-step training exercises, the course will give students the start they need to become a great trainer.
