Please note this course is both Online and at a Facility. The pull-down menu above only allows one choice. The course, which takes approximately six months to complete, combines a feature-rich online classroom and four two-day workshops, which students attend with their dog. During the online lessons students learning through reading, video examples, audio files, written assignments, online quizzes/assessments, and behavior and training exercises involving dogs and other animals. In the workshops, students demonstrate what they have accomplished in their training exercises and home study, and build on the skills and concepts under the direction of our Academy faculty. At the fourth and final workshop students complete practical assessments on both their teaching and training skills.
