Description
Canine Cognition is a six week online course appropriate for anyone who wishes to have a better understanding of how dogs ‘think’. In this course explore what is now known about canine cognition including: Reasoning skills, language capabilities, imitation, social cognition and theory of mind. Learn ideas for how this information might allow us to improve our interactions with dogs in a variety of settings and identify areas where more research is needed. This course will require the student to pass written quizzes and tests. It will also require the student to submit for grading, video homework assignments that show the knowledge gained from this course can be applied successfully as a skill by the student.
