Description
It's not just the retrieve itself that is important for service work but its components: take, carry, hold, give, and pick-up, are foundation skills for many critical service dog tasks. This course will teach you how to train a dog to retrieve items of various shapes, sizes and materials. You’ll learn how to train advanced behaviors including retrieving items on counters, retrieving bottles without knocking them over and even transferring items from one person to another. Troubleshooting strategies for each component of the retrieve are also covered in detail in this comprehensive course.
