Description

Would you describe your dog as hyperactive? Unruly? Unmanageable? Inattentive? Untrainable? All of the above? If your dog seems to have wild energy or erratic behavior, they may be impulsive, hyperactive, and frustrated. Regardless of what you call it — it’s really challenging to live with, and can potentially become a safety risk. Learn some of the recent science around this behavior challenge, what factors may be contributing, how to evaluate if you need veterinary or behavior professional help, and what you can do to help you and your dog live a calmer life together. Randi will review case studies for dogs like this — including homes with children, as well as shelter dogs. You will also receive downloadable templates and instructions for enrichment activities, structured play, and how to evaluate whether a dog behavior professional has the skills and knowledge to help you with your dog.
