Description
3 days of 16 daily intensive 1.5 hr. lectures and workshops on applied behavior analysis and learning theory for dog and other animal trainers, training instructors, researchers, and administrators. Levels from basic (lectures and labs on mechanical skills for trainers, shaping, cues and cueing, behavior chains) to advanced (classical and operant conditioning, current research, veterinary behavioral assessment practices). Other topics include operant conditioning and best practices for puppies; aggression management; ethology; horses, birds;business management; observation and self-management skills for trainers.
