Update Contact Information
It is important to keep your contact information updated and current for your listing on the CCPDT website. The CCPDT website is a great marketing tool where clients can find and contact you for potential services. Please take some time to log on to the website and be sure that your contact information is listed and correct on the My Information page. If you do not wish to have contact information listed you may indicate so under the Privacy setting on the My Information page. However, in doing this keep in mind that potential clients will not be able to contact you.
The recertification process is to take place online except for the application and payment of fee. We will not accept incomplete applications where the Item Submission and Code of Ethics are not submitted online. You can confirm the status of your Item Submission and Code of Ethics online when you log on to the website and look under My Credentials. Prior to sending in your recertification application and fee please be sure the Item Submission and Code of Ethics are showing a green check.
The CCPDT Board of Directors has approved new position statements. The first one, Application of the Humane Hierarchy Position Statement, further clarifies our previous position on the matter. And we have added an Electronic Training Collars Position Statement, which was developed based on the feedback and results of the survey we conducted earlier this year.
The CCPDT is seeking certificants to fill up to seven (7) open seats on its Board of Directors. Service on the board is a serious commitment but offers an educational and rewarding experience for those serving. If you enjoy collaborating with other professionals and have a desire to give service back to your profession through the mission of CCPDT, we want to hear from you.
